I hired a consultant who charged me $200 to tell me to, stop spending 12 hours a day on answers, wash my hair and body at least once a week, stop spilling Martini on my D200 and D1x’s and stop texting my clients that i want to photograph their daughters when im drunk?

How old is too old to go trick or treating?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:23 pm

My 14 year old daughter is in high school and wants to go out with a large group from School, but she has been in a few incidents one in the past month or so when she was arrested for being intoxicated and I think it’s a set up for disaster if she goes out and she looks older then 14, she says everyones going, I say stay home and give out candy, what’s your take on this?

How can you show someone they are makeing an extreme mistake?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:23 pm

My husband and I have a 8 month old daughter, I won’t let my husband or my daughter see his mother. I have a gut maternal feeling that tells me not to. Im not sure if he loves us the way he should, he’s more concerned iwth his family than he is with his wife and child. His mother has taken babies out of carseats, she fed my baby 16 oz of milk when she was a month old, which is way to much even though i asked her not to she won’t listne to me and he won’t either. He says if the baby cna’t see his mom he is going to leave. Should I let him leave?? I cannot go against my maternal instincts, or I know something trajic will happen and I will never fogive myself. There’s more thngs she’s done wrong, to much to explain. She took my child and went and got her husband some beer and drove around with him drinking, she said she was driving but I always see him driving. I know he was driving drunk with my child, I’ve caught her in too many lies to believe that. He always takes up for her

Help with Heroin Addiction ?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:21 pm

I recently married my boyfriend of 4 years..We have a 7month old daughter. About a year and a half ago, he started doing heroin…At first I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. He’s been getting worse and worse, it’s like watching him slowly kill himself…He almost OD’d a couple of times. He’s constantly getting high, and it’s annoying when my family asks me why he never really talks much or anything, and the track marks on his arms don’t really help the situation. He won’t go to rehab, but he tried to quit on his own, and couldn’t last through the withdrawals more than a week. I love him with all my heart, but our marriage feels sort of one sided most of the time.I really want to help him, but I just don’t know how. Does anyone know how I could get him to break his addiction?

PS: I won’t leave him. Ever. ;(

Where is the justice?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:21 pm

I lived several years with an addict of pain medication. The doctors just kept right on feeding him. We had to watch him die and then be brought back in my living room floor from a doctor giving him a prescription for morphine patches, oxycontin and percosettes all at the same time. All for an infection in the foot. I have lost everything I owned more than once from being sold for the addiction. He is now in prison but I can’t afford the filing fees for a divorce. I tried to get help with child support but they said they would order him to pay $0.00 since he is in jail. He will be in until 6 months before my daughter turns 18. Pretty much got off without having to help. Then the other day, I got a certified letter in the mail stating that I was being sued for his medical bills even though we were separated. Apparently Ohio allows that. Go figure, the doctors that made mine and my daughters life a living hell can now get compensated for it while I lose everything paying for it.

can you mix tylenol with codene, advil and oxycodone for migrane?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:20 pm

My daughter is having a migrane. I gave her 2 tylenol with codenes, then 3 advils i think 600mg total. She is in extreme pain, can I also give her an oxycodone with adetaminophen (percocet) to stop the pain?
Thanks for the responses…. we are waiting for the doc to call. She is 15. The tylenol with coedine was prescriped by a doc for migranes, 1 to 2 tabs, the advil I gave on top of that. She is crying to go to the emerg. room from the pain. I won’t give her anything else until Kaiser calls back.

I have the worst mother in law ever. It is really effecting my marriage. Is it wrong to keep my kids from her?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:20 pm

My mother in law was a prison guard and had an affiar with an inmate. She is planning to live with his parents until he gets out of prison in a year. She dropped this news on us at my daughter’s 1st birthday party. She lets her drug addicted daughter crash at her house and has found drug needles in her home. Am i wrong for keeping my daughter away from her. It is really taking a toll on my marriage. My hubby is a mama’s boy! The lifestyles are just too different! There is always drama in her life and it really brings everyone around her down. I love my other in-laws, she just gets under my skin every chance she gets!! I am truly concerned about the effect her life will have on my kids. She has not seen my 1 yr old in 2mths because she will not call ahead of time because she feels like i am making her make an appointment if i ask her to give me some notice before visiting. (Hello, maybe sometimes I try to sneak a few private moments with my hubby when the kiddos are asleep!) HELP!

I am 13 weeks pregnant and due for a termination this week and not sure..?

  • Posted on September 3, 2010 at 9:17 pm

I changed my mind about another termination, just last week. I am at Uni and live with my dad and have no other family. I have no other children. I was heart broken when my boyfriend rejected me and slept with a friend and got pregnant. I don’t love the father or even respect him very much as he claims benefits on behalf of his daughter when she lives with his parents.

I have been binge drinking, taking drugs and smoking during those 13 weeks. I am very depressed as I had two miscarriages with my boyfriend and have lost my best friend and feel worthless. My pregnancy is all I have but I fear the dammage I may have caused. I don’t know what do to as I am nearing 31.

Letter from a Daughter
Father passing by his teenage daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed “Dad”. With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:-

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you, but I’m leaving home. I had to lope with my new boyfriend Randy because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I’ve been finding real passion with Randy and he is so nice to me. I know when you meet him you’ll like him too – even with all his piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But it’s not only the passion Dad, I’m pregnant and Randy said that he wants me to have the kid and that we can be very happy together. Even though Randy is much older than me (anyway, 42 isn’t so old these days is it?), and has no money, really these things shouldn’t stand in the way of our relationship, don’t you agree? Randy has a great CD collection; he already owns a railer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. It’s true he has other girlfriends as well but I know he’ll be faithful to me in his own way. He wants to have many more children with me and that’s now one of my dreams too. Randy taught me that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone and he’ll be growing it for us and we’ll trade it with our friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Randy can get better; he sure deserves it!! Don’t worry Dad, I’m 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your loving daughter,
Rosie.

At the bottom of the page were the letters “PTO”. Hands still trembling, her father turned the sheet, and read:

PS: Dad, none of the above is true. I’m over at the neighbour’s house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than my report card that’s in my desk centre drawer. Please sign it and call when it is safe for me to come home. I love you!!!
