My boyfriend Banged my head against the wall when drunk and kicked me?

  • Posted on February 4, 2011 at 9:23 pm

I went out with my boyfriend on Saturday night to the pub for his Birthday night out. There was a group of us including my older brother, my boyfriends cousin and lots of friend. He had lots to drink and was getting into a heated argument in the pub with someone who was out with us both over football. He was very loud at this point which is unusual for him as he is probably one of the most laid back guys i have ever met in day to day life. Me, my partner and his cousin ended up going into town and when we was waiting to get into a club he ended up nearly having a fight with another guy for no reason. The police had to pull him aside and have a word with him. We entered the club and he saw his other cousin in the club and started having ago at him for not coming out for his birthday, then i saw a guy i knew i was saying hi to him and he went mad at my left the club and left a horrible voice-mail message on my phone calling me a slag and that he was off to get our daughter from his mums. I panicked and jumped into another taxi stopping home first to see if he was there and he was stood outside smoking a cigarette. He then went up to the taxi driver that dropped me off shouting saying ‘ring through your radio and find out which taxi driver has stolen my mobile phone’ The taxi driver drove off because my boyfriend was being so aggressive. My boyfriend decided to chase the taxi down our street shooting a kicking the taxi. He then ran back to our house where i was and started calling me a slag, saying i have ruined his life and hes gonna take our daughter away. Because i got mad at what he said he banged my head against the wall repeatedly till i went all dizzy, he then kept leaving and coming back and each time he either kicked me on the floor banged my head against the wall again or spat at me. He then kept driving off in our family car and then when he come back and he went for me again i just said”Go on hit me you cant hurt me anymore than what you already have” and he just stood there laughing at me as tears poured down my cheeks. He has broken my house phone, broken my bin and threw this at me and also punched holes in our house walls and smashed glass everywhere. He woke up the next morning crying, begging and apologizing. I now don’t know what to do. He is now being moody with me because im in a mood and keeps saying “what more do you want me to do, ive said sorry so many times, i know ive acted wrong and i will stop drinking like that to prove to you. But it isn’t the first time he has attacked me when drunk but this time is definitely the worse. I have two children, my oldest daughter isn’t his just my youngest. i need help i don’t no what to do i have been with him for 3 years and he is normally so nice to me. He even said the day after that he will get help now hes saying he doesn’t need help but that he is just not gonna drink as much as that ever again

Ball on reforming parole guidelines
January21From state Assemblyman Greg Ball, R-Patterson:

IN LIGHT OF DONOHUE SENTENCING,

BALL AIMS TO REFORM

STATE’S PAROLE GUIDELINES

Following the sentencing of Conses Garcia-Zacarias earlier this week, Assemblyman Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) has pledged to reform the state’s parole guidelines and to renew his call that state lawmakers immediately take action to enact a “zero tolerance” for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) law statewide. Ball is the main sponsor of such
legislation, which he drafted in response to the death of Lori and Kayla Donohue, the Brewster mother and daughter who were killed by Garcia-Zacarias, an illegal alien who was driving while intoxicated.
“Regretfully, the current maximum sentence of 8? years to 25 years is not enough. And sadly, with our state’s current parole guidelines, this killer could be released in one-sixth of that time. Idiotically, corrections Law 803, Section 2, Subsection A outlines the maximum parole for convicts serving concurrent sentences is one-sixth the minimum sentence and one-third the minimum sentence for those serving consecutive sentences. This is despicable and insensitive in this case and a perfect case of New York’s revolving door justice. This is exactly why the crime of DWI continues to pervade our community. The victims of DWI deserve better than that, our community deserves better than that, and I am determined not only to heighten sentences for those who choose to get behind the wheel drunk and murder others, but to reform our state’s broken parole system as well,” said Ball.

Ball now is taking a hard look at the state’s parole guidelines and aiming to heighten them. He stated, “We need to move forward aggressively and intelligently at the local level to make Putnam safer in the wake of this tragedy. This was no accident and could have been prevented. Now, elected officials must do everything in our power to keep
residents safe.”

On June 8, 2010 2009 both Assemblyman Ball and the entire Brewster community were shocked to the core when Garcia-Zacarias drove drunk into the 8-year-old second grader and her mother as they were leaving the Seven Stars School of Performing Arts. Garcia-Zacarias had a blood-alcohol level of twice the legal limit and no driver’s license. Following the devastating tragedy, Ball vowed to reform the state and county DWI laws and formed a coalition of
state and local lawmakers, law enforcement and business owners who all aimed to finally curb the high instances of DWIs in the Hudson Valley and prevent deaths like these from happening again.

Last summer, Ball announced the coalition’s plan, which included agreements to implement a designated driver program, creation of a Task Force on DWI through the Putnam County District Attorney’s Office, implementation of
mandatory countywide TIPS-certified training for bar owners and employees and a public awareness campaign, as well as strengthening countywide DWI laws to include mandatory ignition interlocks, SCRAM bracelets and vehicle
seizure.

On a state level, Ball authored and introduced the toughest DWI legislation in the nation. His statewide bill would heighten all penalties for driving under the influence or DWIs. Ball is in the process of further strengthening the bill to include the strictest possible sentences for those who kill someone while driving under the influence. While Albany agreed to heighten some penalties through the enactment of Leandra’s Law (with Ball’s support) in November, which increases penalties for those who drive drunk with children in the car, a zero-tolerance statewide law was not put on the books. In 2007, Ball also voted to enact Katie Flynn’s Law, which created the crimes of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, a class B felony and Aggravated Vehicular Assault, a class C felony.

“I support Assemblyman Ball’s initiative to tighten parole laws to help ensure offenders, who continue to pose a danger, do not obtain early release from prison. Justice demands that someone who takes a life while committing
a crime, must pay his debt to society,” Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith said.

“The closing of loopholes in New York sentencing guidelines is necessary. This illegal alien criminal, by actions of his own choosing, took the lives of two of our neighbors and friends. The DWI aspects of these deaths are only half of the story; sadly, the problem of criminal activity among the illegal alien population in our area can only be addressed when our elected officials recognize the scope of the problem and address it in a uniform, consistent way. This means enforcing existing laws and fully prosecuting those individuals who employ illegal aliens,” Ed Kowalski of 9/11 Families for a Secure America said.

Ball stated, “We need to do everything in our power to keep residents safe. That is the most important priority state lawmakers have. What good are tough punishments when our

How do I handle my ex turning friends and trying to turn my kids against me?

  • Posted on August 23, 2010 at 7:19 pm

My STB ex is a closet alcoholic…I enabled him to hide his drinking. I confronted him several times and got lots of promises..not to quit, but to “slow down.” I fell into the trap of counting cans, dumping out bottles of liquor…trying to make him feel guilty, etc. I finally got tired of the two and three times a week binges, eventually became completely disgusted with him…particularly when he would become so intoxicated he would urinate in the bed…and sleep in it!! Or on the couch…or in our child’s bed, one particular evening…and on and on. When our kids (5 and 8) began to notice his behavior, I had HAD IT…we are now separated…because I never went to any of our friends about it..(too embarrassed) he says I am lying about everything…and now is making up stories about how I have stolen money from him, how I am manipulating the kids, how I have had several affairs…etc. He twists the truth and plays the victim very well. SOME of our friends see through it and are very supportive of me…I don’t have a history of doing ANY of the things that he claims…and I work with children so I KNOW BETTER than to do something so negative to my kids….so his stories are NOT believable…HOWEVER…there are some “friends” who have actually confronted me about some of his stories! ….or that say how “ridiculous” my claim of is alcoholism is because they “never saw it.” My daughter is currently seeing a counselor because of the things that “daddy says about mommy”…she says she knows these things aren’t true and has even told him that , but she is getting help in dealing with him….taking her into a bathroom and questioning her…counting to three when she holds her hands over her ears…telling her that I am a liar…..etc. I just want to SCREAM the truth to some of these people…but have maintained a low profile and continued to keep my mouth shut. HOWEVER…it is getting harder and harder!! Any advice? Anyone else dealing with this kind of thing? How do I not let it bother me so much?? I am praying that God will watch over my kids hearts when they are with him, and he has even been told BY HIS LAWYER to stop the negative talk about me…but he continues! How do I get him to stop?

My x has forge my name on adoption papers because she held a resentment against my for leaving her.?

  • Posted on August 22, 2010 at 4:32 pm

One night I’m was riding past the house were my daughter lived and noticed that there were alot of people there . It was around 12 am. I called when i got to a buddies house, I called and ask what the hell was going on and wheres my baby, why is there so many people up there so late and she hung up on me. So i called back with no answer. then she finally answered and we talked for about an hour. Then after calling her by my new girlfriends name by accident, she hung up on me. I tried Back a couple of times and gave up.My buddy Tommy told me he would be a witness for me if anything happened, but i never even got the chance to call him from jail. The next morning I got a call from the police, witch she had been on the phone with the police officer lying like a rug. I told them the truth about what happened and all they said was I was being charge with harassment by communication . I was on probation at the time for some misdemeanor things. My probation officer herd about the incident and put me in jail. So when I finally get to court . I plead no contest, bad decision at the time because I was going to do time anyway for the violation. She had no proof or phone records, of coarse to prove her case. Then the judge told me if i ever was to go around her again i was doing serious jail time .There was never any mention about use having a child together. I had no one on my side while she had her dad and sister sitting and grinning when i walked into the court room. I felt so worthless and depressed when i finally got out I continued feeding my depression, self medicating If you will.I tried calling anybody and everywhere, but no one could give me any answers or help. This was about the time I tried committing suicide. I swallowed about 30 trazadone sleeping pills followed by a fifth of vodka. Well the x was not worried she got married 2 years after we broke up and they came into some money some how and ask the courts for an adoption. They got it because they said I signed my rights away. I DID NOT!!!!! I was never notified, never mailed any thing. They cannot say either they knew not my whereabouts because adult probation found me and always I had current addresses for them, from 1989 to 2002. She also knew this. because her sister and mother would always call him, my probation officer, and try getting me thrown in jail. Threw all this I am trying to battle depression, anxiety, alcoholism, the loss of my daughter. I was a mess. No one would help me not even my parents.About 2 years later When I was twenty nine years old my parental rights were taken from me with out my knowledge. by a vengeful X pulling some shifty crap. I have tried everything in my power to seek help looking every were asking everybody, but with out thousands of dollars for a lawyer no one will help me. If I were a women this would not be an issue. I’m sure I would find help right away. I have told my story to just about everybody I know and they all agree I got screwed. Can someone out there give me some advice or some kind of resource or somebody i can contact for help. Please help if you can but this is a very serious issue I will never give up on.Over the next 11 yrs I just about gave up.The only thing that kept me from laying across the railroad tracks was the determination to right this wrong.
Presently I have taken steps to Improve my live and change it for the better. I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs, I have recently been diagnosed with P.T.S.D also a social anxiety. I see a therapist once a week and follow my doctors treatment regiment to the letter. I know in my heart i will see her one day again and hold my baby girl
