Is my dad an Alcoholic?10 points?

For about a good 3 years now my dad will go to the liqour store every night and buy a bottle of wine. Then at 5 he will drink four glasses of it (the whole bottle basically). He gets pretty tipsy but he isn’t like a bad drunk(only once he actually got mad but thats cause he drank hard liquor). He just is very talkative and kinda weird. Not only is drinking bad for his liver but also bad for his feet, (he has a rare diease that his nerves in his feet are dead, he has a hard time walking) I think that is why he drinks to get away from stress. but anyway, one month ago he stop drinking for 2 weeks because his doctor said it makes his feet swell but then he went right back to it. I’m very worried. I’m 16 and I don’t know what to do or say. I never thought he was until my sister said something to me. I mean I knew he was drinking alot but it didn’t click in my mind. So is he an alcoholic? How can I get him to slow down with drinking as talking to him as a concerned daughter .Thanks! Happy Holidays!
I’m a daughter..
and he doesn’t drink red wine, it’s defiantly not good for his feet which is worrying to me. If he keeps drinking the doctor told my mom he will be in a wheelchair in 2 years.
