Can he take my daughter when she is born?

I live with my mother because my babys daddy broke up with me and kicked me out of his house a couple of months ago ,I work everyday saving every dollar. So my ex is saying that he is not going to pay child support. And now he is saying that because I have a record he is going to take her away from me. I was convicted of possession of meth when I in 2005 when I was a minor and I have been clean since then. Can he really take her away from me because of that? I live with my mom and her husband, his kid and my little sister. Can he take her because of that? It is clean enviorment and safe. A nice home. I am not sure that I want to give her his last name since I will never have his last name and she WILL be living with me, he says if I dont give her his last name then he will take me to court for that too. Can they make me give him his last name? Do I have to call him when I have her or can I wait until she is born? I am 31 weeks pregnant and live in colorado. Please help!

I just had a new born but have a problem with my girlfriend’s mom!?

Me and my girlfriend just had a newborn and her mom act and wants to be in the middle for everything. My girlfriend had a son 10 years ago , when she was 17…basically a baby herself..and her mother took care of basically her son for along time..(my girlfriend got into trouble alot with dwi and was a alcoholic). Now After I met her (1 year ago) she changed her whole life around..but still wants her moms help and the mom still is trying to be inside to take care of the baby and probably still thinks my girlfriend (her daughter) is still young and naive!. I have told the grandmother to relax and (go away) in a nice manner, but then my girlfriend argues with me..and back and forth. GEEZ! I know i got myself in this situation but now i want to be the man and handle my responsibilities, (even care and like her son who isn’t mine) too! My family has also wondered and noticed why her mom is all up in our business and wants to always be there…makes me feel useless! GEEz I tell her UR DAUGHTER isnt 17 any more! she is 29!!!! u dont have to fix our apt up, or buy groceries or ask her to go back to school in the morning so we can leave MY baby with you! (my GF’s first born is 10 now, and he basically has grew up with the grandma, I sure wont let MY baby grow up with her)! Its killing our relationship!

Can you get your child back if it was born addicted to crack?

I know a girl who’s daughter was born addicted on crack. The hospital took the child. Every time i asked about her baby, she would just say “oh she’s still in the hospital”……Months went by and still no baby….. Can they take your child permanently? Could she have gotten the child back if she wanted to?

She has Severe ADHD and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. We have tried everything from rewards to punishments and nothing works. How can we get her to do her Math without having a battle every day. She is home-schooled because she cannot make it in public school she was failing everything but she makes A’s and B’s at home with the exception of Math. Please help us?
She is 9 1/2 Years old. We do praise her on her Work well done and she earns rewards for every A she receives but Math is still a part of scool and she still has to learn it. We just can’t find a skill that will help her to learn and not be so confused.

Could new born have reaction to Percocet?

“My daughter-in-law was given percocet after her c-section, baby was fine, the day her milk came in the baby started having heart rate go down to 78-79, temperature dropped, he was druggy and sleeping 6-7 hours and she had to wake him up to nurse. His father, aunt, and grandma hve bad reacctions to percocet (vomiting, heavy sleeping), could baby have sensitivity also to percocet?”

My daughter is doing meth while pregnant & I want to know if baby will be tested when born for drugs.?

My 24 yr old daughter is hooked on crank. She already lost her 7yr old to CPS who put her in fostercare, then gave to her dad who she never saw since he was 1 because he beat my daughter.he’s the one who got my girl started on crank at 16. I raised grandchild 1st 2 years, but court says dad has right to her because now he test no meth in body, only pot and they say in calif that’s something they will work with him on. He just wanted out of paying child support. Now she is 7 months preg w/another baby and says oh baby is fine. But I think baby will test with crank in its system and CPS will take it too. SHe can’t take care of her self, I know that, but I am scared they put baby in foster care instead of giving to me to take care of. The CPS worker very mean and I think maybe I should get lawyer? Don’t know what to do, but want to know if baby will be born with drugs in system? This baby has dad in jail already for drugs too. My daughter trying to go to rehab, but none take CA Medical.
