Alabama Drug Laws? Charges? Doing Time?

Does anybody know anything about drug charges in Alabama. I am interested in knowing how many year my ex is facing in prison. I want to know this so that I can prepare for the safety of my daughter and myself. These are the items that were seized: a half kilogram of cocaine, 17 pounds of marijuana, 500 Ecstasy tablets, 90 hydrocodone tablets, a large undisclosed amount of cash, and a semi-automatic pistol. He is being charged with conspiracy, drug distribution, and possession of a firearm. The newspaper said that this has been a month-long investigation, and the ATF, DEA, and police carried out undercover operations, as well as physical and electronic surveillance leading up to the arrest. He has been battling with me for the last several months for visitation rights. If you have any answers, please let me know!

If you get busted for Misd. Drug charges while on probation for a felony charge will you go to jail?

I just found out my ex got busted for Possession of Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is already on probation for felony Forgery-Uttering from last year and had felony burglary charges read in. He served 4 months Jail time with work release and has 3 years probation. Obviously the drug charge is a violation of his probation but it is only a misdemenor. If found guilty will he go back to jail?

On a side ote i find this very funny since he and his family have been trying to make the case that he should be allowed to see our daughter because he is clean. Obviously not..this is a huge bonus for my husband and I who are trying to get the courts to allow him to legally adopt her
