Ok, I need some guidance. My ex boyfriend and I had a daughter together. She is now 6. We had a verbal agreement when we split, in regards to visitation and so forth.
Since he has failed to follow thru and now has a DWI, I have decided to take him to court for Custody and Support. I have to look out for my daughter.
Well, I paid the atty on Monday. He doens’t know that I am doing this. So when he gets served, he is going to hit the roof.
My big fear is that he will pick my daughter up from daycare and not return her to me. I have already emailed my atty to let them know my fear, but I am still waiting on a response.
I guess my question is, can he legally take my daughter and keep her from me until the court case is final?
Please help. I have seen my daughter everyday of her life and this is freaking me out!
