These Forgotten Secrets of The Law of Attraction will Blow You Away

  • Posted on July 2, 2009 at 2:48 pm

The Law of Obedience is one of the 11 Forgotten Laws. The 11 Forgotten Laws is a home study course on the Law of Attraction put together by Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey. It is based upon the book by Raymond Holliwell, Working With the Law.

On first look, The Law of Obedience made me want to run in the other direction. The word obey makes me think of a list of rules and regulations that a body must follow whether he likes it or not. Someone else makes the rules, I have to follow them. This is a bunch of crap, right? I guess I’m a bit of a rebel.

Well, once again, in the learning of all these 11 Forgotten Laws, I see how a small change in perspective can change your whole point of view. Seeing things in a different way can open up whole new worlds. The Law of Attraction is all about perspective. When you really know these laws and begin to apply them to your daily routine, your results may just blow your mind.

What if, instead of using the word obey, we use the word harmony? This is the way Bob Proctor explains. Instead of obeying the law, live in harmony with the law. Go with the flow, don’t fight it. Understanding the rules and playing the game of life within these guidelines can make your life evolve into a true work of art.

There are certain rules in gardening. You must plant at the right time of year, plant in good soil, water and fertilize. If you break these rules, will you get a good crop? Not likely. In order for your garden to be successful, you must obey the laws of nature. You must plant in harmony with nature’s laws to receive nature’s abundance.

We can all agree that we need laws in our cities so that we can maintain an orderly, structured society. Without our laws society would be in chaos. Without traffic laws our streets would be a mess. There needs to be some set of laws to govern our cities and our streets to maintain order.

It is the same in life. Obey, or live in harmony, with these laws of life and you can expect an abundant outcome. Use the knowledge provided by these 11 Forgotten Laws to live your life the way it was meant to be lived. Success, joy, peace and happiness can be part of your daily life. Working in harmony with the Law of Attraction can improve our lives in ways we never before imagined.

Working within these laws can help us to achieve more than we have ever thought possible.

After 20 years of metaphysical study Anita Hamasaki has learned that the Law of the Attraction is no joke. It’s out there whether we like it or not. It effects everything. What happens in your life happens in direct response to what you do. No one has any control over what happens but you. Bob Proctor can teach you how to use this information to transform your life.

The Truth About Migraines Headaches

  • Posted on July 1, 2009 at 10:12 pm

Most Americans are familiar with migraines, those headaches that take bites out of workdays, leave people weak and nauseous and come back in episodes over and over again. What many people don’t know is that migraines can attack different parts of the body.

Migraine headaches account for extreme suffering and thousands upon thousands of lost workdays per year. Migraine headaches create a pain that throbs and often begins in one specific area and gradually takes over the rest of the head. The headaches are so strong that many people have ruined days a result. In addition to severe pain, migraine sufferers may also deal with nausea, sound sensitivity, light sensitivity, vomiting and intolerance to smells.

Nearly 15% of the population suffers from migraine headaches at one time or another. It is one of the most common complaints seen in emergency rooms and doctors’ offices. The frequency of these headaches can be anywhere from one headache each year to one each day.

Women outnumber men in occurrences by more than three to one. These sessions of acute pain, nausea, vision disturbances and sensitivity to light and sound can last up to four hours, or for as long as 72 hours in some severe cases.

If you have ever experienced migraine headaches, you know how debilitating they can be. The intense pain, as well as the accompanying symptoms like nausea and light sensitivity can be enough to drive you into bed for the duration. This can be extremely inconvenient if you feel the warning signs of an oncoming headache while driving, working or taking care of your children.

A migraine headache can put a damper on vacations, celebrations and everyday life. Because these headaches can get in the way of your daily routine and activities, it is important to understand the causes of migraines so that you can more effectively prevent and treat them.

People around the world have suffered from migraine headaches for many years. These unfortunate people would feel the headache coming on and knew that they would be somewhat incapacitated for some time. They also knew that there was not much that they could do to avoid the approaching headache, and they also knew that there was not much they could do once the headache began.

The people who suffered from migraine headaches had probably been to a doctor for help, and the doctor told them there was not much to do. The only help the doctor offered was regular pain medicine for normal headaches. The doctor and the patient knew that this might lessen the pain, but they also knew that these painkillers would not be enough help.

I’m Depressed – Are Alternative Depression Medications The Answer ?

  • Posted on July 1, 2009 at 7:36 pm

The short answer is a resounding yes! Looking at my two depressed friends who have been on anti depressant medications for a lifetime, I am now more convinced than ever that the only way out for them is a comprehensive type of treatment which combines diet, exercise, therapy and medication, preferably herbal ones. That for me is the key to alternative depression medications.

I have seen too many people’s lives thwarted and stunted under the weight of anti depressant meds and their awful side effects. What a price they have to pay as men may become impotent and women gain weight and feel sorry (and even more depressed) that their societal body image is just not what they want.

Let us look at why people are depressed and the answer lies mainly but not entirely in the chemical neurotransmitters called serotonin, endorphin and norepinephrine. Serotonin seems to be the one which can determine so much in our daily routine and how we cope with life. It will affect not only our mood but also appetite, sleep, body temperature and even muscular movements. People who suffer from depression usually have a serotonin deficiency and that has been the key to all anti depression treatment. A lack of serotonin can lead to Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) , anxiety and schizophrenia.

One of the best alternative depression medications is sunlight. If you are lucky enough to live in a sunny climate, you will be able to enjoy loads of sunlight. For those who do not, I would say that getting even ten minutes of sunlight can make all the difference to depression. It is no accident that the best possible treatment for SAD (seasonal affective disorder) which is a mild form of depression, is natural light therapy which can be in the form of special lamps for that purpose.

The second best of the alternative depression medications is exercise although it is not a medication in the strictest sense of the term. That is the best way of raising the serotonin levels in your brain and the endorphins which get activated are sometimes called the ‘happy chemicals’. Have you ever met anybody in a bad mood after exercise ? I doubt it .

Diet, while not strictly one of the alternative depression medications, is an essential element in any form of depression treatment. It is no accident that carbohydrates are called ‘comfort food’ because in fact they tend to raise the serotonin levels in the brain as opposed to proteins which tend to have the opposite effect. Go for the brown carbs rather than the white ones so brown pasta, whole wheat bread, fruit and nuts are in. The white carbohydrates tend to give you a sugar spike which can lead to mood swings.

That leaves us with medication and one of the best alternative depression medications is the herbal one because it has very few side effects and will let you regain your mood and serenity without any nasty surprises.
