How to keep a kid off of drugs?

I know a family that is cracked out and on heroin and meth. All except for the 2 youngest a 17 year old girl and a 10 year old boy. I have talked to them all and given them all good advice and they know this. Their is mom on it son 22 on it daughter 21 on it and prostitute ( i am worried about her trying to pimp out her sister i have seen prostitutes turned pimp try and even pimp me and i am a guy). They girl is experimenting with weed it seems like its only to hang be part of the group i forgot to tell her she does not need to smoke or do drugs to hang out and the boy is very young and innocent i played catch with him. What can i do to keep them off drugs.
I already gave the mother an indisputable knowledge so that she knows their is a God( One God that created all that is in the heavens and the earth) and still she does not get it she said i will go to church(i told them they must be righteous do good and live by the Quran(complete truth), the Book(Bible)Or the Torah if they wanted to inherit paradise) then called her son to tell him she is going to get meth. It takes more than just church on Sunday to be and do good.
What can i do to help the 2 kids stay off of drugs long enough to get away.(I would prefer the girl does good and then takes care of her little brother.)

Do “maskers” for urine drugs screens work?

for meth, specifically. My ex had to pass 3 drug screens to see our daughter, he has passed all 3, with 3-5 hours notice, but certainly still looks at acts like he is high as hell.

Is there anyone who hasn’t done drugs?

I have never done drugs, and yes, I’m including marijuana in this statement. I’m in my mid-20′s now and have always found myself to pretty much be the only person that has never even tried drugs. I’m not religious (I’m atheist), I just never tried it because it’s illegal and to me it never seemed like something to get in trouble over. I had a lot of friends in high school and college, it’s not like I never had the opportunity. I’m just wondering if there’s anyone else out there that’s just never wanted to mess with it. I have a young daughter now and I don’t want her thinking it’s normal to do drugs and make out with other girls. I don’t think badly of pot users (my husband used it for 12 years, and every other drug out there except for heroin), I just don’t want her messing with it.

If you haven’t tried drugs, what are you reasons? I really want to tread lightly, I don’t want my daughter rebelling in a few years and doing everything I told her not to. lol
No, I don’t think people that do drugs then do homosexual behavior. I do want to stress if she’s a lesbian, than so be it because that’s how she was born, but I don’t like how everyone thinks it’s normal (as in everyone does it) for girls to experiment with each other in high school and college. When people find out I’ve never made out with another girl, they never believe me, because “all girls” do it.
I meant thEn so be it, not thAn. :)

And, my parents let us do whatever we wanted (my mom’s german) and none of us ever did anything we weren’t supposed to. I’m scared about doing that with my daughter, but I guess it might work.

How do you let go of someone you care about when they are addicted to drugs?

I am ready to leave because I have a daughter that I won’t even allow to stay at my home because I found out my bf has been using heroin. He quit for almost a month now but has not gotten the help that he needs. He says he tried it all but he can’t do this on his own and is just drinking constantly to cure the withdrawals. I tried to stay around because I thought he was going to get help and tomorrow I think he is actually going to go to the hospital but I have dealt with so much in belief that the man I met is still there and not the man who started using back in November and brought me into debt and just constant anxiety and stress. I have to think of myself and my daughter and gave him the chance to find help and he is so convincing but for instance, tonight, he got drunk and was acting delirious again…I know I can’t save him, he needs to save himself but people like his mother are enabling him by wanting to control his money and everything he does….
She has offered to help me get a new car and give us a place to stay on their property (they have an apartment there) but she outright said she would constantly be on our as*…and that the only time he was ok was when she was controlling everything…It kills me so much to see the man that I fell in love with has such a -problem…and has reduced him to this. I wanted so much to be there to support him but I dont think its a possibility at this point nor do I want to endure any more craziness…and believe me it has been enough to drive the strongest of people insane….I just pray he gets better…I just hope he one day sees that I did really care…It’s just really hard to let go bc I hold on to the man who I fell in love with and I just wish I knew a way to make this a little easier to leave….

if you knew someone who did drugs while they were pregnant what should you do?

one of my neighbors told me she did meth and smoked cigarettes for 6 months of her pregnancy, she no longer ueses, and she seems to think that it was no big deal her daughter is now 3 years old i have noticed she doesn’t talk as well as other kids her age and she seems to be lets just say a little slow….she is now pregnant with her second child she is still smoking cigarettes… what do you think? what should i do/ or shoulkd i do nothing?

consequence when a teen see’s Mom snorting drugs?

What are the effects on a teenager when she see’s her Mom snorting a crushed pill? I was in my bathroom and saw me snort up a crushed anti-anxiety pill.I didn’t know she was there and she didn’t say anything until I got home. I asked what was wrong She started to sob and said I saw you do crack or cocaine. My daughter is 17, an excellent student and preparing for University next year. I have said please don’t do drugs all her life and she hasn’t. She has only seen me drink a few time. Which is totally by choice. She has always thought of me as a straight great Mom. In a flash her trust has changed forever. What should I do?

Found a Vibrating Rod in my daughters room. Is this used for drugs?

She’s out with her friends all the time now and I’m starting to worry that she might be using this vibrating rod for drug use. I did some research online (Web MD) and one theory was that it could be used to evenly break up cocaine. Is she using drugs?

Is my 18 year old daughter back on drugs?

Well she got with a guy and they ended up living together and a year into it we were all suspicious that he was an heroin addict with a major crack habit i told her to get out but she “loved him”.. cut a long story short he got her on heroin and crack cocaine also injected her and puttin her in hospital with heroin overdose. They are now splt..

She got herself clean eventually after being on heroin and crack for year, she did a subutex detox which didnt work but the methadone detox did (or so i thought)

Lately she’s lost alot of weight not eating, She has alot of spots and sores on her face and arms, legs etc.She is on benefits and most of the time she tells us she hasn’t been paid or it goes extremley quick and telling me she has no money by sunday she gets paid on a friday, She talks about drugs alot, and alot of people call her a smackhead, crackhead in the street her hygeine isnt great i always tell her to get a shower and wash her clothes.she has blister and burn marks on her right thumb she just says its where she bites her skin.

I kicked her out she is living with her father and i moved a short journey away to a differant town only see her on weekends. Her father hasn’t said anything to me but he is never there he’s always working or out drinking. he is working away at the moment so she is all by herself with no food etc her nan gave her £20 but im not sure if it was spent on food or something else.

She is also drinking alot and sleeps around and still goes to the local drug clinic but if she is clean why go. Do you think she may still be using heroin or crack?? outsiders opinion would be great.
We tried rehab but she left 2 days into it
