Drunk driver killed a 2 yr old, &step mom -2yr old was not in car seat or strapped in is there a law suit?

The father of the 2 year old was driving. They were hit by a 19 year old drunk driver. Killed in the car was the 2 yr old child of the driver, his wife, the father/driver and the couple’s daughter survived the crash. The 2 year old was not in a car seat or strapped in the car. Their van flipped over and the 2 yr old was thrown out of the car and suffered terrible head injury and died at the scene of the crime. Will the insurance company hold the father of the 2 yr old responsible and thus no compensation because he did not have the 2 yr old secured by law? The 19 year old drunk driver does have car insurance.

I got drunk at my sister in-laws wedding and ended up touching her in sexual manner..?

Last week me and my wife went to my sister-in laws wedding.My wife had been driving me crazy for day’s to prepare for this wedding(cloths, presents, drinks etc..) When we got there my wife went to greet the best man (my father in-law) when we started to talk, my father in-law talked about “how boring and stressful this day has been and how he COULDN’T WAIT for it to be done and over”,(i couldn’t of agreed with him more) So before the wedding started me and my father in-law started to drink couple of beers together, while my wife went to go comfort the bride. (1 beer became 2 beers 5 beers ect…) Until me and my father in-law where completely wasted.. So at the Wedding reception my father in-law came up to me (completely drunk) and said “come meet my daughter) So i walked over to my sister in-law(drunk) and my father in-law said “You see does breast touch’em” (while pointing at my sister in-law so i go up to her and squeeze her breast (in sexual manner) her newly wed husband hits me
away and my sister in-law screams “what the hell are you doing!?” I kind of got control of my self and ran away (my wife chasing after me) when we get home my wife gives me the “third degree” Screams “what the hell where you thinking”? I told her “i was drunk and her father encouraged me”.. She is still pissed at me now and i haven’t talked to my sister in-law or any of her family since… How should i feel? I was drunk and couldn’t help my self? Whats your opinion? How should i handle this situation?

Cousin came over drunk and took my child home with her?

We are really close but she came over drunk at 3am to cry about her boyfriend leaving her. I stayed up with her and the next morning when I woke up (she had slept in the living room) my 3 year old daughter was GONE!

I was in a full rage and panic because she had sent me a text “i have your daughter shes playing with my son leme know when you want her back”?

I woke up to nothing more than that. I didn’t hear her take her in the morning and ran (and I mean ran) over to her house while calling her 5 times+ I got no answer. My next step was calling police but she was in her apartment ASLEEP with my daughter alone, door unlocked, and my 3 year old in a room watching TV.

This is my cousin but I know she drove with her drunk, I took her out immediately and left without saying a word. I want to file charges but can I? It’s been a few days I’m just torn! Please give me advice!
Sorry I have a huge place, she said she thought I could use some sleep so she took her and her son to breakfast?
She also has 3 charges of endangering welfare of children for leaving hers home alone to go drink. I don’t want her to go to jail but she needs a wake up call.

15 yr old son just came home drunk?

my neighbors asked my boys to help some of there family move as a reward the folks moving offerd to cook out for the kids tonight.My neighors 18 yr old daughter and her boyfriend drove my son to the cook out and brought him home drunk.I called the girls father and he said oh well boys will be boys i am sooooo upset right now.His daughter was responsable for my son right?Or was my son supposed to be the adult help?

I do. I mean we all know that drinking and driving can kill, period. Read this article about how this mother had to hold her 7yr old daughters decapitated head after their ,limo was hit by a drunk driver.

Can you sue a police officer if you were punched in the face for being drunk?

I am 19 years old. I was drinking in a hotel room with my fiance who is almost 24 and provided alcoholic bevarages for me. The cops came in, and I was absolutely intoxicated. My fiace was arrested and put in jail (Which I later bailed out) and I was sent home.
One of the police officers was being absolutely rude to me, and me in my drunkness I might have said something to upset him.
I am 5’0 and my fiance, my parents & I believe he punched me in the face.

I honestly remember him being rude, mean, and physical with me. At no point did I hit him. I did NOT touch him. I only perhaps insulted him, which I have no recollection of doing so. He is the kind of cop that I fear if I were to have a daughter would hit her, or my son, that if my old grandfather would do something wrong he would beat him. This is the kind of cop that I fear.

I believe in my heart that he might have punched me. He is the kind of cop who cannot deal with a drunk 19 yr old 5’0 girl. He was so angry, and lost his patience with me, and I believe he punched me in the face…I have a big busted lip on one side, and it’s red near my jaw.

Can I say in court “I am not making an accusation, but I am pointing out that I believe the Officer ______ punched me in the face and busted my lip open. The reason why I believe this is because I recollect him being rude, lossing his patience, and insulting me, and getting physical with me, when I had not even put a finger on him?”

my mom went to work drunk?

My oldest daughter is at my mom’ house right now,she just text’d me and said grandma (mymom) got called in to work. My mom had been drinking all evening from maybe 4pm til 11pm and then went to sleep,so she slept 1 and a half hours then got called in. Iam 250 miles away. I called my daughter right when I got her text and said tell her she better not drive,not to mention go to work drunk and my daughter said she already left. I was asking my daughter if grandma was REALLY drunk, trying to get an idea of how drunk she was , my daughter was like yeah, I guess. Im freaking out,shes driving,she probablly already at work. She works in a casino incase you are wondering
omg, I dont know what to think of this. Iam mad, that my mom hadnt thought about this before she decided to get drunk. She always drinks on her friday,which happens to be friday this time,anyways,she recently took over for her boss that was fired so she knows shes on call. wtf. My daughter that is at the house is 16,she doesnt have a license only a permit still but still,why t f wasnt either of them thinking, my god, Im praying she made it ok. My daughter said she was yelling when she left the house.
what should I do is the question
I just called her cell to see if she made it and shes drunk,whatever it makes me sick. She was at work. damn it,it makes me so angry that she drove drunk, I wish she would have gotten arrested, I should have called 911 but she was gone before my daughter told me,its not far to work. Iam so mad.

Is it normal that my daughters get drunk together and road trip?

my daughters are 16 and 31. They get drunk and go on road trips on the country roads. they wear their seatbelts and drive safely, i’m just worried is this normal? and i also have a hunch that they vandalized a grave. im very worried. i just cant seem to split them up and break both of their hearts and make them sad. i dont want them to hate me!

Well yesterday my friend got hit by a drunk driver who fled the scene. She hit a tree and was there for hours before anyone found her. Today she has many woulds, broken legs and arms. She was 3-4 months pregnant with twins. She completely lost the son. Now the daughter is born 6-7 months premature, weighing 2 pounds and barely alive. Now she is awake from her coma and the drunk driver turned himself in.

I will gladly say I always death upon any drunk driver. if you choose to drive drunk, you dont deserve to live another day. Call it harsh or mean, but its the true.

my husband drinks every night and he drives drunk we have 2 kids, what do I do?

Ok. My husband and I have been married for 3 years. I have a daughter that is 7 (she is actually not his daughter, but he is all that she knows..She calls him daddy). And we have a 2 year old daughter. I have been a stay at home mom for 2 years now. Before we got married I bought a house and car, because I had a good job! Actually it was a wonderful job with GREAT pay! My husband started drinking every night and he would drive home from work drunk and it is like an hour drive, When he comes home he goes out side and smokes and drinks all night. He does not pay any attention to me or the kids? I have found him passed-out, outside a couple times. Or he passes out down stairs and he will not even sleep in the same bed as me! And when i try to talk to him he gets so mad at me and blames me for everything! I mean everything is always my fault. I thought that I could be cool with the drinking but now I feel emotionally drained and physically drained! I am not sure what to do because I am so scared of starting over with nothing! Because everything that I did have before is gone!!!!
I have tried talking to him about this and he acts like he will change but then the nest night he comes home drunk! Like hardly walking drunk!

He drank before we got married but it was NOT everynight? I LOVE HIM and I have tried the 6 month thing but it did not work. And he has been in a car accident and he left…so we had to pay an attorney $$$$$$ for his stupidness! Maybe I just feel like I cant do it without him, I don’t know?
How do I help him if does not think he has a problem? I want to run away but I can not leave him for some reason and I know it is because I want to help him..But is that a healthy thing to do to my kids?
