Is it possible to spike a drink with ecstasy?

Would it be a good idea to go to the hospital after having ecstasy?
I ask this because my sister who is 18 went glow in the dark bowling last night. Her story is that she was sharing a drink with a girl who was 9 months pregnant. She came home high and the girl had to go to the hospital in an ambulance from the bowling alley because she went into labor. They found ecstasy in her system and my sister said that someone must have spiked her drink with it. She said she thinks that it was her boyfriend’s ex girlfriend. I don’t know if this story is plausible because before she had her daughter, she had smoked weed quite a few times. Also, she didn’t go to the hospital and my dad didn’t make her go to the hospital when she came home. I thnk if I thought someone had spiked my drink, the cops would have been called and I would have been up at the hospital. Can anyone answer my questions and clear this issue up please?
