what kind of psychological effects will my 3yr old son with spina-bifida face if sperated from his mom?

mother sentenced to prison for 2 felony counts of child endangerment 2 2to4year sentences handed down.she had our 14year old daughter in the car also.she was in possesion of 1/10th of a gram of meth.I know the effects of having his mom taken out of his life have been and will be deeper and longer lasting.A handycapped child relys on parents from day1 alot more than other children do.I know the bond they had was like no other. looking for some legal addvise also

TMI…Depo Provera shot side effects?

I’m wondering what side effects other people have had. I have been on the shot since my daughter was born and at first I didnt have any problems with it but I recently got my 3rd shot (so its been 9 mos) and now i have noticed that I am pretty dry down there and even after I have an orgasm I STILL am not wet, there is like NOTHING there. My main problem that is really bothering me is my knees, and Im not sure if or how this could be related, but my knees ache all the time. Its been for a few weeks already and it seems like it happened around the time I got my 3rd shot which was also around the time my daughter started crawling. Im not sure if the knee issue has to do with always being up and down with my daughter or if its related to the shot and im wondering if anyone else experienced this. It hurts any time i get up, sit down, bend them, anything. Im young, only 23 and have never had a problem with it and its has started to affect what i do, like if Im thirsty and forget to get myself a drink, i will literally not get one bc i dont want to get up bc my knees hurt. Its rediculous.

Eg. A woman dying of AIDS who has to tell her young son that he has inherited the condition.
I was looking more for a negative event.

What are the effects of carbamazapine on an unborn fetus in the first trimester, daughter took whole bottle of

My daughter tried to commit suicide last week and took a whole bottle of about 90 tegratol or carbamazapine, I picked her up from the hospital on the third day and they were still making her drink charcoal, it was still not out of her system, she has a 5 month old baby and has been reported to CPS previously because of violence in the home, also the hospital reported the suicide attempt. So now CPS is involved again, and good for them because she has two others one is 8, one is 5 and she is not taking care of them, they have been temporarily placed with my mother and father, they would go to their fathers, but this beautiful little blond hair, blue eyed, baby girl would be put up for adoption, We dont want to lose her but
considering everything going on in the home, violence, drugs, etc. and my daughter mixing psyche meds with meth, this is no
existence for this poor little baby and now not to mention that the word is out that she is pregnant again. Wont this cause deformities HELP

What are side effects from heroin?

I’ve never done drugs in my life. I’ve always thought they were disgusting and pointless. Last night, my boyfriend and I had our friend and her boyfriend over. We had a few drinks, and needless to say, I got pretty drunk. My friend and her boyfriend went to get beer and my boyfriend went to his mom’s to check on our daughter. While he was gone, I went to my friends house across the street cause I didn’t wanna be alone. Long story short, I decided I wanted to try heroin with him. I didn’t really notice any changes, but then again I might have been too drunk to tell. Right now, I’m freezing, but my back and upper arms are on fire. Is this normal? (And for the record, I will not be drinking anymore. I feel absolutely horrible and never thought I could bring myself so low as to do something like that. I drink to have fun, not to make stupid decisions, and last night was the most stupid decision I could have made)

What are the side effects of living in a previous meth lab?

I am not positive, but I am pretty sure this place that I am living in now may have been a meth lab at one time… I can not prove it, but my daughter and I have been sick since we moved here 4 months ago. Is there a way to find out for sure, and what are the symptoms of living in a previous meth lab?? Please Help with only real answers, this is a SERIOUS matter no jokes please.
I am renting, but it is a trailer, and when I moved in, it was filthy and it took me a week to clean it before I would even move my stuff into it. THere really are no hiding places or anything, and the carpets have been professionally cleaned, but the only place I have a strong urine oder is in the bathroom, I cant get rid of it, so I closed it off and I dont use it, averyone uses my bathroom in the master bedroom. I have had the septic tank emptied, and the lines cleaned because when I first moved in, I had a lot of problems with draining and flushing toilets. I really dont have any proof, but I would like to have this place tested, my landlord told me that the people that lived here prior, left without notice and non payment and I was allowed to have the first month free if I cleaned it up. My 11 month old and I have been sick since we moved in. She constantly has colds strep, scarlet fever, rashes, cranky, sleeplessness &I have headaches & anxiety& colds and sleeplessness.

What effects can cocaine have on a baby?

My moms friends daughter is 3 months pregnant,she is 31 and has just confessed to her boyfriend that she has been doing cocaine.Can anybody tell me what effects will this have on her baby?I do not understand why these things happen when they have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months!! I would like to get some info for them,her parents have already taken her to a counsler but being a mom myself if worrys me what can happen to her baby.
No this is not for gossip,it is my moms friends daughter,no i do not know her well enough to take her to my doctors,my mom called me and told me to look up on the internet and i ended up here,this is serious,thank you for the responses so far.
As for the baby being taken away,we live in canada and our stupid government seems to let hookers keep there babies if they are addicted,it is just stupid!This girl is a decent women for the most part,this came as quite a shock.

More Research

These evidence-based customer experiences are confirmed by a number of independent studies, including that of the Georgetown University Medical Center (2001). Dr. Harry G. Preuss, M.D., who led that study, reported, among other things, the following:

(1) Oregano oil at relatively low doses was found to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus bacteria – which is responsible for a variety of severe infections and is becoming increasingly resistant to many antibiotics – as effectively as the standard antibiotics streptomycin, penicillin and vancomycin.

(2) Mice infected with staph bacteria that were treated with oil of oregano achieved survival rates equal to or better than the survival rates where the antibiotic vancomycin was administered by injection.

Earlier in 2001, researchers at the Department of Food Science at the University of Tennessee reported that, among various plant oils, oil of oregano exhibited the greatest antibacterial action against common pathogenic germs such as staph, E. coli and Listeria [Journal of Food Protection, Volume 64, July 2001]. Somewhat earlier British researchers reported oregano oil had antibacterial activity against 25 different bacteria [Journal of Applied Microbiology, Volume 88, February 2000]. A clinical study in Italy has shown that oil of oregano can be used to treat intestinal parasites [Phytotherapy Research, Volume 14, May 2000].

The body of positive evidence for oregano oil as a major antibiotic is growing. Among 52 plant oils tested, oregano was considered to have “pharmacologic” action against common bugs such as Candida albicans (yeast), E. coli, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa [Journal of Applied Microbiology, Volume 86, June 1999]. Pseudomonas is a type of germ that is getting more difficult to treat as it has developed strains that are resistant to antibiotic drugs.

The growing problem of antibiotic resistance has health authorities concerned. Already various germs are showing resistance to vancomycin, particularly to intestinal bacteria among hospitalized patients [Southern Medical Journal, Volume 94, August 2001]. Vancomycin is considered to be one of the most potent antibiotics available and has been withheld from use as a drug of last resort.

The Georgetown University studies, along with those cited above, confirm the observations of Dr. Cass Ingram as presented in his book The Cure is in the Cupboard. In his 187-page treatise, Dr. Ingram, considered the leading authority on the production and uses of oil of oregano, reports the following:

(1) “Oil of oregano is one of those rare substances that can alter the course of history. It possesses dependable anti-infective powers; in other words, if a contagious infection develops, oil of wild oregano is one of the few substances known that will produce consistent positive results.”

(2) “New studies have been performed on wild oregano oil demonstrating powerful antiviral actions. The oil was tested against aggressive germs, including the cold, flu and even bird flu viruses. In all cases the wild oregano oil destroyed the viruses. In tissue culture the wild oregano oil virtually completely destroyed the human coronavirus, a 99.9% kill, in a mere 20 minutes. The coronavirus is the microbe responsible for nearly 50% of the infections diagnosed as the common cold or pneumonia and is solely responsible for SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). The destruction of the influenza A and bird flu viruses was nearly as complete; a 99% kill. This is an impressive result, which has never been achieved by any drug.”
