Is it a crime if the victim is a felon?

  • Posted on February 22, 2011 at 7:22 am

After beating my daughter (not important). I witnessed a hit and run. The drive was clearly drunk. He hit a pole and fell out of his Geo Metro. I asked him if he was okay. He said yes. So I beat him senseless and left him unconscious in a gutter with a little present in his anus. Did I commit a crime or am I a hero? Ignore the first sentence. Wild Card Bitches.

what to do when my step-daughters mom chooses new felon brother in-law/bf over her 5yr old daughter?

  • Posted on December 25, 2010 at 9:20 pm

My new step daughter’s mother has been giving my husband and i hell. The ex moved without telling us until the day she moved. My step daughter is 5 and did have the visitation with her mom on all wed’s for 4 hours and everyother weekend. Now that her mom just had a baby with her ex brother in law (possibility of 3 other baby dads) she is using her daughter as a pawn against my husband and my kids. In their divorce it states that she can have joint custody when she secures a safe residence and gives 60 day notice when she moves, which she didnt. And her meeting strange men from online for hookups. The man that shes living with just got out of jail in april 07 for drug stuff (selling and meth lab in his home). They just got a trailer out in the sticks and is wanting her daughter to sleep on the floor because she cant afford a bed (when we found out that she spent her welfare $ on gifts for the boyfriend. We are having lawyer draw papers for supervised visits. Is this wrong?
after asking the ex to choose between the new bf and her daughter she chose him!!…what a bi***!..i love this little girl as if she were my own flesh and blood…her mother spends little to no time with her and flashes her buying the kiddo an outfit as supporting her! yeah right…she lives on ramen noodles while the fat a$$ mom eats steak dinners! shes collecting welfare and paying $98 a month child support to my husband.. we have chat logs of the mother neglecting the 5yr old and the new baby..and her offering to *ahem* meet and “hook up” with a total online stranger she only knew for 2 days!..we are scared for her..we havent let her see her mom since she moved. this past weekend was her time and we said hell no! the little girl doesnt understand why she cant see her mom, and since we never talk bad on mom around her we dont really know how to approach things with her. do we tell her that mom chose new man over her?

Military Question; Child From A Past Marriage Considering Marrying Felon Boyfriend; Need Advice?

  • Posted on October 6, 2010 at 9:22 pm

Ok, this is a bit of a complicated situation. I’m considering joining the Military. However I have a few concerns.

1) I’m considering marrying my Long-time boyfriend. However, He is a felon (Before we get judgmental; got into a fight with long-time friend while intoxicated, friend called cops, State prosecuted- no weans, no drugs, etc). Will this affect my career options upon enlistment or any of the Military benefits?

2) I am a Divorcée with legally “joint” custody of my 4 year old daughter. She visits her father once or twice a week- Lives with me. Will there be any issues regarding claiming my daughter as a dependant and having her life with my BF and I if we choose to Marry? Also, if I get deployed, would it be an issue for my daughter to be sent to live with her father in regards to the benefits?

3) Which Branch has the best Living conditions/benefits for Families? I’m considering; Coast Guard, Air Force, Navy
ALSO- Can my BF live on base if we are married? I’m unsure if it is a possibilty simply Because he IS a felon
Thank you for those of you who actually answered the question at hand. As for the others, this is not a question of morality. Do not presume to know another’s situation or goals in life. You just make yourself seem ignorant by randomly posting your ignorant, negative, and entirely irrevelevant opinions here. If you have no factual information to share with me or others who may be seeking similar information, keep your opinions to yourself. Thank you.

So, back to the question [just to clarify], his past will not affect me obtaining any type of Military/federal security clearance now or in the future?

Why does this illegal twice deported felon think he should now be allowed to stay didnt he earn a NO?

BANGOR, Maine — Two illegal aliens have been sentenced in U.S. District Court to time served for illegal re-entry.

Saul Canizales-Osuna, 57, of Albuquerque, N.M., was arrested on Oct. 9 when he walked off a cruise ship in Bar Harbor. He is a native of Mexico.

Pedro Miguel Pereira Gloria, 34, of Perdigao Anadia, Portugal, was found wandering in late December in the Houlton area looking for the New Jersey man who was supposed to pick him up after he crossed the border on foot.

Both had been held without bail since their arrests.

The fact that Canizales-Osuna was in the country illegally was discovered during a routine review of the advance passenger information system. Customs officials discovered the day before the ship docked that he had been deported in June 1998 because he was considered an aggravated felon. He was convicted in June 1995 in Los Angeles of possession and-or sale of methamphetamine and of assault with a firearm, according to court documents.

Those convictions barred him from re-entering the U.S.

He served about three years in prison and was deported on June 9, 1998, according to court documents. He told U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents when he was arrested in Bar Harbor that he had returned to the U.S. at the Tijuana, Mexico, crossing the day after he was deported using his resident alien or green card as identification.

Immigration officials apparently mistakenly returned the card to Canizales-Osuna instead of keeping it when he was deported more than 10 years ago.

He returned to the U.S. to be with his family and turned his life around, Virginia Villa, the federal public defender who represented Canizales-Osuna, said at his sentencing on June 16.

“It is somewhat ironic that all of his family members are somehow involved in the legal system,” Villa wrote in her sentencing memorandum urging leniency. “His wife and one daughter are paralegals, another daughter works in the California prison system, and his son is a police officer. He has received letters of support from a wide section of the community, including a deputy sheriff, employers, family members and friends. This support is a reflection of the support he has, in turn, given to those around him.”

Canizales-Osuna and his wife are planning to relocate to Mexico, according to Villa.
