my daughter was hit by a drunk driver a few days before the tragedy of those two baby girls and nothing was done to make her pay the consequnses for drinking and driving

My Daughter’s DUI charge in PA – what will happen?

After drinking at a party, my 24 year old daughter got into an accident.
Fortunately her injuries were minimal. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital and released later in the day. She did not receive any alcohol test from police but the hospital records indicate a blood level of .18%.
Now she got a notice of preliminary hearing from the police. They list 6 charges: 1) DUI gen. impairment 1st offense
2)DUI Highest rate of alcohol -1st offense 3)Disregarding traffic lane 4) turning movements and required signals 5) Driving at unsafe speed
6) Careless driving
This is her 1st offense and it happened in Pennsylvania.

What are her actual penalties likely to be.
She just got a new job after graduating college and we’re hoping she can keep it.
Will it do any good for her to hire a lawyer or would a public defender end up just as good? (We have very little money)

Any experience based information will be appreciated.

So my character just ran out (mid day) of school after telling off her teacher. She ran home and the chapter ended “, I just walked. I continued doing so until I got home, where my mother and father stood awaiting my arrival.”
What should the parents do to her?
Im a kid so idk what i would do to my daughter if that happened.
Things to know about the parents: Mom alcoholic and dad workaholic

I’m guessing there would be reports such as this:

“The FDA and the Surgeon General had a meeting at the WTF house in Conservative middle America today. Reports have became enormous as the protests on the ban on the sale of food for it’s addictive use have spread a controversial outrage.
John McCain stated this morning, “We all have to fight this war on food. It’s a terrible thing to have another addiction in America.”
The ban on the sale of food starts immediately after Republicans wack off on their money, and Palin’s daughter has a baby and preaches abstinence.

What will happen to grandparent rights?

My mom’s friend has a daughter by adoption, she had a baby last year but at three months old the baby was taken from her for child endangerment after an incident caused by her meth habit. She lost all custody and visitation rights to the child and is looking at her rights being terminated completely within the next few months when it will be a year since the incident. The friend (the mother’s father) got temporary custody of his grandchild until they established paternity for the father and awarded the biological father full custody with the grandpa having visitation every other weekend. The biological father of the baby is working out of state and the baby has been living with the parents of the father who now wish to have the biological father sign his rights over to them so they can adopt their grandbaby.

What will happen to the maternal grandfather’s visitation rights when and if the paternal grandparents adopt him? If it helps we live in Arkansas and I know the laws are different in each state.
I forgot to add that his visitation rights were court-ordered so will the adoption have any effect on them or will they stand?

My daughter had sex with her 20 year old boyfriend when she was 14 (15 now) she confessed to a counselor when cops were watching, then when she found out they’d heard, she took it back. They care about each other very much. Her boyfriend confessed, and gave dates. He’s in jail for a probation violation, but his only criminal background is for marijuana use, and meth use. Can they just let him go on probation, or will he have to serve jail time? We live in Arkansas.

I’m filing for divorce at my husband’s request,& I’m worried about what’ll happen. Anyone have experienc,info?

My husband’s alcoholism has gone from bad to worse, causing constant fighting and arguing. He told me to file for divorce, which was not what I really wanted.
We are still in the same house. It is in my name alone, bought before the marriage, and he signed a quit claim leaving it as my sole and separate property when I refinanced.
I have been responsible for the mortgage payment and most bills. I have used 100% of my net pay on taking care of the bills (over $5000 a month). He would put in about $300 a week for groceries, outings, and gas, when he felt like it.
I am being nice by not getting a restraining order. He is very abusive, and there are about 10 incident reports with the sheriff’s dept. I don’t want to force him out, evict him, or anything like that. But my daughter and I can’t even live in peace because he comes to her room to harrass me every single evening (I stay in her room since we only have 2 bedrooms)
Here are the main financial details. I refinanced when prices were high. The value has dropped about 150K from 360K to 210K, and I owe 219K, so there’s no equity in the house whatsoever. There are also loans, credit cards, and car payments. The credit cards are all in my name because of his bad credit, but he has used them and accrued thousands in debt, which he has never tried to pay. The debt is about 110K. I am currently able to pay all of the bills, and with some adjustments, probably do so even without any of his income, since he gave me so little.
To me it seems like if he went after the house (my sole and separate property), we would both owe about 110K to pay off the mortgage and another 50K to pay the bills.
To me it just seems like leaving my house to me and letting me assume all the debts makes more sense. He can easily live off his income in an apartment, and have money left over. But he says he will get alimony because he is used to vacations, Lakers games, and other things.
He says his parents are hiring a lawyer because he is getting half the house (that has no equity), alimony because he is used to a certain lifestyle (even though 2 years of our 6 year marriage were spent in prison), and he is going to make sure that my daughter and I have no where to go.
What could a lawyer possibly do to benefit him in this situation? There is no equity and no money, but there is over 100k in debt. He is making so many threats that I feel like I will be on the streets.
Why would a lawyer want a case like this?
If you have any experience with this or know anything about this from a legal standpoint, please please share your infomation with me. I will greatly appreciate it.

what can happen for writing out narcotic scripts and signing the drs name for people i know?

i wrote out about 30 prescriptions for people i know for percocet and a few for oxycontin i signed my doctors name and the people filled them at different pharmacies, one pharmacie called my job to verify it and my dr found out i wrote them and now there are warrants out for all of our arrests and im scared. this is my first offense im 23 single parent good person have a 4 yr old daughter a job and am in school what is the maximum time do you think i will do? i live in philadelphia too?? please helllllllp

I am also very healthy, non smoker, never a drug user, and have 1 healthy daughter from a previous marriage. I am concerned about the health of our baby, and if there will be any damaging short or long term effects.

My newborn tested positive for cocaine. I don’t use drugs. What are ways for that to happen besides amoxicilli

CPS took my daughter from me because of the test result. I swear I’ve never touched cocaine before. The other sites I’ve been on say amoxicillin, liver disease, kidney disease, and diabetes can cause a false positive result. None of those apply to me. During my pregnancy I had 4 drug tests which came out negative. They won’t believe the no drug use theory. Somebody please help figure this out!! I would never endanger my child in this way. Isn’t there anything else that could create a false positive result?
