Okay, so there is someone I knew who was not a good person. Started a lot of trouble for our family by using her daughter against our father. She abused my brother for years and told friends how she wanted to kill my father. She did everything from writing bad checks to ripping off people’s wallets. Recently she became addicted to Oxycontin among other pills (I have no idea how many) and died in her sleep. She left behind my twelve year old sister who had to see her decline and now is dealing with the loss of her mom.
I do not know how to guide her as far as what God says in the Bible. I am not the judge of her mother. I have no clue if she has ever accepted Christ or not, but I do know that she wasn’t interested in God and church. Is there anything that references whether or not there would be hope for this person? It’s difficult to tell my sister that her mother is heaven, when I don’t know that she is.
Anything encouraging that I could tell my sister right now would be appreciated.
