You see i’ve had this seed growing in me to be change my diet and not just me but my daughter as well but i feel like well i know im addicted to meat i mean i don’t eat it three times a day but I kinda know there’s something bad about so i thought if i watched one of those films it would be shocking enough and serious enough for me to really see the seriousness of it all. If anyone can help me find one of those films i would really appreciate it.

Benefits of Bioidentical Hormone Treatment

  • Posted on January 3, 2010 at 3:22 am

I am only twenty-five years old, but my mother had recently begun to lecture me about the benefits of hormone management.  Never mind that I am currently on the pill (more for regulating my menstrual cycle than for actual birth control – I don’t actually need birth control at this point, but that’s probably too much information); my mother has suddenly, without warning, decided that if she was going into bioidentical hormone therapy for her menopause, then her eldest daughter who, incidentally, takes after her in more ways than the physical, should take it with her.  Let me just say at this point that my mother has a habit of trying to drag her children into health-related binges with her under the guise of it being “good for us” when in fact it’s more of her way of trying to get us to spend time with her and bond with her – not that none of us don’t have enough in common with her, when she practically raised us all by herself.  That being said, however, I opted to “bond” with her by getting into a heated discussion on menopause and the different therapies involved.  It took me a few hours before I finally got her to understand that as I am now, I simply cannot take that therapy with her because my hormones are not unbalanced as such.  Taking up bioidentical hormone therapy is likely to be more harmful for me than helpful.

This does not mean, however, that I am not considering bioidentical hormone therapy when the time is right.  The way things stand now, I think I rather like the idea of this more normal approach to hormone replacement than any other options out there.
