Hi, my daughter is 3.5months.After 1 month of bf/FM, i switched her to total FM. Her eczema only occured during her 3rd mth, on her chest,back and tummy area.Other areas like where she has the folds are dry,reddish and scaly.My paed gave me this steroid cream which i used for1.5 weeks then stopped cos i heard its not very good to use for long term.as it thins the skin
True enuff,i saw the rash coming back today on her chest/tummy.I only stopped using dat cortisone for 1 day.
Wat cld be the reason it came back?
I am using non fragrance moistrurizer(cream) for her body/bath(emollient) for her.
She has been drinking cow’s milk (Enfalac A+)since day 1.My paed gave me this hypoallergenic milk also to try.So am alternating between the 2.
Am using a mild baby sopa powder.
So wat cld be causing it then cos for 3 months she was fine and suddenly this happening?
Btw, we have history of asthma-grandparents.
So wat shd i do?Try soy milk?Do an allergy test?Is it necessary cos shes only FM
