I know this is going to sound crazy so please read the details completely through?

Can a person with one kidney become an alcoholic? I think that they can. I mean what would stop them. I could see if they had a partial liver or something like that, but anyway I ask this question because there is a woman that I work with and they think her grandchild may be born with one kidney and her way to comfort her pregnant daughter was to say, “At least you know he will never be an alcoholic.” She also told her daughter that this child will never be able to run and play sports. Is she misinformed?

You don’t have to comment on the fact that this lady is crazy for “comforting” her daughter in this manner, we all know that.
Thanks for the answers. Everyone is just pretty much confirming what I thought. But does anyone have an medical explanation of why this could still happen so I can shut her up. I am so sick of hearing her say that everytime a client calls.

My husband has mentally, and emotionally cheated on me and i have read text messages to other women and i also read myspace and facebook messages to other women, so i know he was doing me wrong. i never cheated on him and he say he never cheated on me but when he went to the atl. he stayed the night at his ex house claiming he fell asleep, and he stayed at a girl house he saw in the club he was in because his bf left him at the club and wouldnt come get him. I never believed him and i thought i forgave him but it still pops in my head and i’m in pain all over again. I found out he sent nude pics to a girl on facebook and he claim he never met her. she live in another state but that dont give him the right to do it. When i asked him about it, he claim she was a friend, i even asked her and that ***** said she was just his frien. looking at his phone bill he had been talking to her for many nights at 4 and 5am…..i even caught im on the phone and he tried to act like he wasnt on the phone. now he is in the Navy and when he went to bootcamp he met a girl in there and was trying to be with her but when i found out about it and wa sleaving him he begged me to stay. she was a real woman and we had a very good convo and she never knew about me. BEFORE HE JOINED THE MILITARY HE USE TO DRINK A WHOLE LOT. HE USE TO DRINK AND DRIVE A WHOLE LOT. NOW THAT WE ARE AWAY FROM FAMILY AND WE LIVE TOGETHER, HE DONT GIVE ME MONEY BECAUSE HE USE IT TO DRINK AND CHEW TABACCO. ON HIS OFF DAYS HE ALWAYS GO TO THE CLUB. HE WOULDNT GIVE ME ACCESS TO HIS BANK ACCOUNT AND HE ACT LIKE WHEN HE OFF HE CAN JUST CHILL AND PLAY THE GAME WHEN HE DONT EVEN HELP ME WITH OUR DAUGHTER. A WEEK AND A HALF AGO HE GOT CAUGHT DRIVING DRUNK ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE STREET. NOW HE IS IN TROUBLE WITH THE CITY POLICE AND THE MILITARY POLICE. HE HAS TO PAY ALOT OF FINES AND WE DONT EVEN HAVE MONEY LIKE THAT. NOW HE IS IN THE MILITARY JAIL FOR 30 DAYS. AFTER ALL OF THIS, HE NEED ME. HE DIDNT WANT ME DRIVING HIM TO WORK BUT NOW HE NEED ME TO BECAUSE HE CANT DRIVE FOR A YEAR, HE GAVE ME ACCESS TO HIS BANK ACCOUNT BECAUSE HE NEED ME TO PAY THE BILLS WHILE HE IS LOCKED UP, HE NEED ME TO GET HIS CAR FIXED BECAUSE WHEN HE WAS DRIVING DRUNK HE MESSED HIS TIRE UP…..BUT ANYWAY I DONT HAVE A JOB BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE ANYONE TO WATCH OUR DAUGHTER, AND WHEN I WAS GOING TO GET AN ABORTION HE BEGGED ME NOT TO AND WE EVEN GOT INTO PHYSICAL FIGHTS BEFORE, WHILE AND AFTER I WAS PREGNANT, IT WAS HIM HITTING ME. HE DRAGGED ME ACROSS THE FLOOR BY MY HAIR WHEN I WAS PREGNANT. I WORKED AT A RETAIL STORE UNTIL A WEEK BEFORE I WAS DUE…….NOW HE NEEDS ME LIKE I NEEDED HIM. AND I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR HIM I HAVE NOT TOLD HIM IM UPSET AND TIRED OF THE BS, I JUST BEEN TELLING HIM WE ARE GONNA GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER BUT WHAT SHOULD I REALLY DO???? PLEASE HELP ME
every time he mess up he tell me he’s sorry and then it’s right back to the dumb things. this is the most serious one. all of the female drama and drinking drama is just building up and i cant handle it. i am just tired of it.

Do You Know About The New Technology at Walmart?

One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Joe says to Mike, “My elbow hurts like crazy. I guess I better see a doctor.”

“Listen, you don’t have to spend that kind of money,” Mike replies. “There’s a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what’s wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars… a lot cheaper than a doctor.”

So Joe puts a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits.

Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout:

1. You have tennis elbow.
2. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity.
3. It will improve in two weeks.

Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.”

That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Joe began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and a sperm sample for good measure.

Joe hurried back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results.He deposited ten dollars, poured in his concoction and awaited the results.

The computer then prints the following:

1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. (Aisle 9)
2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. (Aisle 7)
3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.
4. Your wife is pregnant, Twins. They aren’t yours. Get a lawyer.
5. If you don’t stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better.

ok so i was in a bad situation w/my daughter’s dad ever since i found out i was pregnant last may… i spent every single day curled up in a ball in a corner crying w/him in my face yelling at me, calling me every name in the book all day long…i finally got sick of it and promised my unborn baby they would never have to deal w/that so i left state to live w/my mom… a couple months went by and dude had got a job and all that and i didnt want to keep him from bein a dad, i guess i figured he’d change when i got an ultrasound n found out it was a girl. so i went back, the day i got there he lost his job and started doin drugs shortly after… [he got indicted on heroin charges last yr. and has some type of plea deal if he goes to NA and rehab and gets piss tested every week for however long theyll drop the charges... but the only reason he passes those piss tests is cuz its not his piss] but there’s a possibility he’s not the dad… i had the baby in december and everything was still the same the guy didnt change one bit and hasnt even bought anything for her, he’d rather buy cigs or pills than diapers or formula… well i finally got fed up w/being miserable… i am my daughters sole caregiver, he even bitched about taking time to feed her… but i get food stamps and he ate all my food a couple days ago and w/all this other stress that just set me off so i was like ”well who’s food u gonna eat when i leave” and he said ”***** u aint leavin, i got papers from a judge last week sayin if u leave, ill get full custody” well i dunno if thats the truth or not i never got notified of anything like that and doesnt he have to take a paternity test? well it pissed me off that he would threaten to take my baby away like that knowing that he has no way of supporting a baby let alone himself so i left state again… also he’s trying to have his mom claim my daughter on her taxes to get the money… what should i do? am i legally in the wrong for leaving state or not? is there any way he could possibly get custody? the only reason i put him on the birth certificate is cuz he was right there and i dunno what he wouldve done if i didnt put him on it… also, i caught him covering her head w/a blanket when she was crying and ive heard him yelling **** like”im gonna throw u in a trash can” and **** like that so before i did leave i wouldnt let him near her unless i was there… but i dunno whats going to happen im so worried…he doesnt have a job or have a GED, i mean all he does is sleep for 12-15hrs a day and be a total jerk… did i break any laws or anything

we were never married and there was never a custody arrangement… everyone tells me because of that i didnt break the law in any way but i dunno what he’s gonna try to do when he finds out we left state

It was opened and cut down in the house, I no longer live there, but our daughter does,she’s 9. I am more worried for her than myself, it was opened and air bourne, it ate the rubber gasket off the food saver he would use to seal up the cut down portions, where it was in the house and opened up would there be any chance of my daughter and I getting sick from the stuff?
when I was married to him, “HE SOLD the stuff!” We had numerous knock down drag out’s over it, I am Totally Against All Drugs! actually he’s still selling the stuff, but it got so bad I had to make Him Hate me over it, so I could get away, he eventually through my daughter and I out, and we divorced. He put another death threat on me and a guilt trip on our daughter, in order to get her away from me he’s got control issues bad! Well now that I am away permantly, she’s not, she’s afraid for me, and she loves me enough and afraid he’ll hold to his word on killing me/having me killed, that’s why she’s there. I pray everyday and night actually it’s more 24/7 that she’ll be ok, and I hope she never forgets how much I do love her, she has no idea of what he’s actually does for a living- I called cps and the sheriffs dept there-they laughed in my face! He was forwarned they were coming so he “cleaned the House” is there any body that knows somebody that can help me & will!

With that much drug addiction in Sarah Palin’s town you would think at least one of her kids would be named ‘tweaker’.

Also what do you think of the forced marriage of her daughter? That is doomed to be a sham of a marriage. All for the sake of looking proper? Why turn one mistake into another?
kwingster: It is well known on the baby’s father’s myspace account that he DID NOT want children at ALL. He also is a big stoner and partier. I can’t believe that is someone that Sarah Palin would like to see as her daughter’s husband?? He is a total loser all scrubbed up for TV. Poor kid, one night of sex and he ends up a few weeks later at the Republican convention. That is enough to make him NEVER want to have sex again!

I don’t know what to do now?

My oldest son is a drug addict (keep in mind-he’s still my son) – he did live with us and we kicked him out. He has a daughter he doesn’t take care of but supposedly loves. He left town a while ago and came back to “take care of some things” –right. Called last night and said he wants to stop to say “hi” before goes back. Youngest son threatening to move out now because I told him his brother wants to stop and see us before he leaves. Oldest stole everything from us-ruined us financially. I KNOW it’s the drugs that did it. I can’t get him help and he won’t go get help. Now I have to tell him he can’t stop by. Husband left me note (he works nights) and said HE’S been waiting for the birth of youngest son’s child (they live with us – due in Oct) and that HE doesn’t want them to move out (saying it like I don’t care but I care a LOT). Why does it have to be this way? Does ANYONE have ANY encouraging words? I don’t think there are any when it comes to drug addicts (heroin/oxys).
He’s been in jail – is not afraid of the “cops” and we did use tough love kicking him out. I’ve had him arrested in the past.
We’ve dealt with this for YEARS – it’s nothing new. He’s my first born son – I can’t help but still LOVE him. He’s lived on the streets and is VERY STREET SMART — also people love him and will let him in their home until he steals from them.

Does anyone know how far a man has to get behind in child support before he can be arrested?

I am considering putting out a warrant for arrest on my daughter’s dad because he is refusing to pay child support. He is an alcoholic but he still manages to pay his own bills. He has even lied to my daughter about sending child support when he did not even send it. He is now 2 months behind.
