What would happen if John McCain won?

  • Posted on February 5, 2011 at 4:21 am

I’m guessing there would be reports such as this:

“The FDA and the Surgeon General had a meeting at the WTF house in Conservative middle America today. Reports have became enormous as the protests on the ban on the sale of food for it’s addictive use have spread a controversial outrage.
John McCain stated this morning, “We all have to fight this war on food. It’s a terrible thing to have another addiction in America.”
The ban on the sale of food starts immediately after Republicans wack off on their money, and Palin’s daughter has a baby and preaches abstinence.

Can and do you keep an open mind about Obama and McCain?

  • Posted on September 25, 2010 at 8:22 pm

Are you stilll open to ideas about the candidate of your choice? Or, do you shut out opinions about the “other candidate?”

Check this out:

I’m a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight…..

If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you’re ‘exotic, different.’

Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story.

If your name is Barack you’re a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

Name your kids Willow, Trig, and Track; you’re a maverick.

Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.

Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you’re well grounded.

If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you don’t have any real leadership experience.

If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council, 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, and 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you’re qualified to become the country’s second highest ranking executive.

If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you’re not a real Christian.

If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you’re a Christian.

If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state’s school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant, you’re very responsible.

If your wife is a Harvard graduate laywer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family’s values don’t represent America’s.

If your husband is nicknamed ‘First Dude’, with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn’t register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

Everyone – cut , paste and post. Cut, Paste and Post LOL!!!
Bonkers – it doesn;t matter what Mccain says – he is one vote. Public opinion is quite another thing. None of the points made say anything about what has been verbalize by McCain – is what is implied that matters more. To me anyway.

Has Bush helped collectively lower the IQ of EVERYONE in this nation?? Please SAY IT AIN’T SO!

Put in your two cents!

International Adoption…the Bridget McCain story?

  • Posted on September 1, 2010 at 3:21 am

Hi. This is not about politics….so please do not talk about who you are voting for or anything related to the election. Thanks.

Bridget was adopted by the McCains as a young child in Bangledesh in 1993 see story below for more info. Cindy McCain stated that she abused drugs throughout this period. Both McCain parents have stated that it was Cindy’s idea to adopt and that John McCain never knew about Bridget until she arrived home and he was told, “say hello to your new daughter” by Cindy.
I am wondering…I don’t think this is how they process international adoptions these days…without both parents being aware and on board…but could/does this happen in some countries? And what about the drug issue? I know it should be a factor, but is it currently a factor in international adoptions? She was taking 15 percocet and (some) vicadin a day during that time. Thanks!

Thanks to those of you who have remained on topic.

Jennifer L: according to everything I have researched–all of the interviews with the McCains concerning the adoption–he states he was in the dark until she came home and stated “meet your new daughter”. She was visiting the country for work without John, but did bring two children back to the US for medical treatment. fter their treatment, the McCains and their friends adopted the 2 children. Although, again, John states that his involvement was minimal and that he came home to find out he had adopted a little girl. Perhaps he is merely minimizing his role in the process…who knows…but it was just concerning to me that–if it did happen as he states–that that would be permissible. Clearly the child is healthy and happy, so I am glad it worked out ok, I was just questioning the guidelines for a 1993 international adoption.
Thanks!

Conservatives: Should McCain let baseless, sexist smears set his course?

  • Posted on August 20, 2010 at 10:23 am

Should she not serve as vice president because her daughter is pregnant? Or her husband had a DWI 20 years ago? Or her sister married a state trooper, who shocked his 11-year-old son with a Tazer, leading relatives and friends to think he should be fired? Or because she exercised her legal right to fire the head of the State Police when he saw no reason to fire the trooper?

Isn’t Palin is under attack because she is such a good choice?

Could McCain and Palin have won the election if they had run on this platform?

Decriminalization of Drugs?

Based on Conservatives recent lowering of the bar for “guilt by association” :

John McCain knew all about Cindy’s drug abuse and theft and since he lived with the woman for the last 20 years he probably aided and abetted Cindy in her theft and abuse of drugs from the Charity front used by Cindy to aquire her drugs.

And then we have Miss Abstinence Only Sarah Palin’s sexually active 17 year old daughter’s supposed future mother in law busted for selling OxyContin…an arrest that should have been made months ago but Sarah bribed the police and they held off the arrest to save Palin more embarrassment during her losing run for the VP slot…and also because Palin probably had fronted Sherry Johnston the money to buy the drugs and Palin knew Sherry needed time to unload the drugs on the local high school kids so Palin would get her money back.

Should I mention that Downs Syndrome is a proven side effect for pregnant mothers who gobble down Oxycontin???

Again…guilt by mere association followed by wild speculation…thanks once more to Repubs for lowering that bar so much.

So since the whole group are a bunch of drug pushing, drug abusing space cadets…could they have won by promising to legalize Cindy’s and Sarah’s favorite drugs to abuse?
