Why does Glenn Beck nearly cry all the time, he’s on TV right now ranting about some present his daughter ask?

And he seems to be unbalanced. I know he has said he is a recovering drug addict, and recovering alcoholic. Is he just naturally emotional? Does he make you uncomfortable ever?

My (nearly) one year old daughter won’t take ANY milk…advice please?

  • Posted on August 16, 2010 at 1:24 pm

Hello all–

I am in a bit of a situation here. My daughter is to be one on Feb. 3rd. As of 4 days ago, she has simply refused Any bit of milk, (Similac is what we’ve always bought for her.) She just pushes the bottle away and screams!

She’s always preferred it cold, so I tried warm..nothing worked.

Two days ago, I figured that since she’s nearly one, I could offer whole milk. I went to the grocery and bought an Organic whole milk, half gallon. I have tried offering it to her; half mixed with formula, just plain whole milk, warm and cold.

She will have nothing of any kind of milk. I don’t know what to do, she already only ‘snacks’ on solid foods, and now won’t have milk…she is terribly petite. She’s 31in. tall, and 19lbs, roughly.

The only drink she seems to accept is water…and sometimes small amounts of pear juice (diluted…)…her diapers are quite dry, so I know she’s not getting enough fluids. I DO sneak in milk/water into her foods as often as I can, but I need guidance. Thank You!

ANY polite advice would be wonderful.
Sooo, at this point, should I just focus on giving her whole milk entirely?

My significant other is an alcoholic and nearly died from it. Did I make a mistake?

  • Posted on August 8, 2010 at 4:32 pm

He was sober for 3 yrs after he nearly died from pancreatitis and was in a coma for about 4 weeks. His 25 yr old daughter moved in with him . She thought she could just booze it up in his house and it would be allright I guess. He started drinking again with his daughter and her husband. Well. it got out of control, I came downstairs the other nite and he was drinking out of a big jug of vodka.
I told him last nite I would never shame him for his alcoholism, because I know how hard it is for him not to drink. I also told him I felt really disappointed that his adult children did not support him in his sobriety and I felt like it was a shame. I explained to him how I watched him almost die and it was the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I explained how much his drinking problem has affected my life. How we arent spontaneous lovers because he drinks himself into impotence and I am not really into finding out he cannot perform in bed. Was I stupid to tell him?
His pancreatitis was so bad, he went into shock and multisystem organ failure. He has so much organ damage, his liver started to fail, his kidneys shut down for awhile. He ended up with diabetes from the pancreatic damage. He was mottled from the waist down and FTDing (fixin to die) It was only by the grace of God he lived thru it.

What is your opinion on this pattern of Illegal immigrants driving drunk nearly struck somebody?

What is your opinion on this pattern of Illegal immigrants driving drunk nearly struck somebody and if this has nothing to do with his status then why is there a federal immigration detainer warrant on him ?BREWSTER — Village police today are praising a motorist who followed a suspected drunken driver and notified police after nearly being struck by the man.
Chief Officer Jon Del Gardo of the village police said that the motorist was driving on Main Street around 12:15 a.m. Sunday when he was nearly struck by a car driven by Giron Adelso Nectaly Vasquez. 36, of 138 Main St., Brewster.
The motorist turned around and followed Vasquez to a Gulf gas station on Main Street and notified police. Officer Stephanie Perro responded and was assisted by Officer Wayne Peiffer.
Del Gardo said the officers took Vasquez into custody and charged him with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. He also said that Vasquez refused to submit to alcohol screening, a violation.
Police, who needed an interpreter to communicate with the Spanish-speaking suspect, took Vasquez to the Putnam County jail after his arraignment before Village Justice Richard O’Rourke. He is due back in Village Court on April 12. He is being held on a federal immigration detainer warrant because authorities said Vasquez admitted to being in the country illegally from Guatemala.
Del Gardo praised the unnamed motorist who followed Vasquez despite nearly being struck by him.
“We very much appreciate the effort to get this guy (Vasquez) off the road,” he said.
Illegal immigrants driving drunk has been a particularly touchy subject in Brewster since last June, when a drunken driver who was in the country illegally ran over and killed a mother and her daughter as they left the girl’s dance class in Brewster.

Conses Garcia-Zacarias, 35, is serving up to 25 years in state prison on two counts of vehicular homicide in the June 8, 2009, deaths of Lori Donohue, 37, and her 8-year-old daughter, Kayla.
