ok so about 9 months ago my husband and i were wanting to adopt my husbands sisters daughter cuz my s.i.l. is hooked on drugs (meth and oxycotin) well she was acting like she didnt want to and my f.i.l. said he was going to so we left it alone. my f.i.l. hasnt done anything to help the baby out at all. well i went over to my in laws house today to pick up some mail and my s.i.l. was there and just out of the blue asked ”so what were you guys going to do with my sara”. she wasnt asking in a rude way but more like she was interested,then my f.i.l. jumped in and said how if any one takes the child its going to be him. my husband wants to take the baby really bad, where shes at she doesnt have a room,and she just gets yelled at alot, she has no insurance,nothing. all my f.i.l. does is yell at everyone to take care of her. i told my husband about what happened and he said to talk to his sister and get the baby. what would you do?
a few more details- my husband is in overseas,and he has talked to his dad and his dad tells him the same thing, his sister sounds like she wants us to adopt her daughter.
im 8 months 2 weeks pregnant.
my husband comes back in july if that helps.
