She claims to be “a very sexual person” but I fear that her promiscuity stems from parental neglect or child molestation.
Her parents were both drug addicts who committed suicide within months of each other. My GF constantly drinks and says she wants to commit suicide herself. She wants a baby b/c: “I hate my family! That’s why I want a baby -so I can have a family of my own to love!”
She wasn’t close with her parents and didn’t talk to them for 7years -she reconciled with them a few years before they committed suicide.
She’s had A LOT of sexual partners. During any given month, she’d have 3 regular sexual partners plus any random one-night stands. In one month, she slept with 9 men.
Sex for her isn’t a big deal. She’s not emotionally attached to the men she sleeps with -she tends to get drunk and just do it.
She even slept with one of her friends b/c it was his birthday and she felt bad that she didn’t buy him a birthday present.
Her mom had A LOT of BFs and I think that my GF’s sexual behavior may stem from one of her mom’s BFs having molested her as a child (my GF was the oldest daughter and none of her sisters display these behaviors -they’re all pretty “normal”).
She doesn’t see a problem with her alcoholism or promiscuity -how do I help her? I love her unconditionally but I can’t have children with her if her behavior doesn’t change.
