My child’s mother smokes around my child, what can I do?

My daughter is 10 years old. Her mother recently moved in with her boyfriend of 2 months since she quit her job due to an “illness” that affects her arms so she “cant work.” She is on dozens of pain killers (Oxycontin, morphine, etc) several times a day. She lives off of my child support and money from the government. My child comes over to my house every other weekend and every morning that she wakes up, her voice is raspy and she coughs like a smoker. She comes over to my house reeking of smoke. I asked her if her mother had been smoking in the house and she said “yes, and so does her boyfriend and my uncle.” My child has no idea how bad this is for you. I asked her mother to please stop smoking in the house and to please go outside because it is dangerous for my child. She did not respond. What can I do about all of this? I do not want my child having health problems and going to school smelling this way. They also have about 10 animals living in the house.. so she is going to school smelling of smoke and animals. I just want to know if there is anything I can do about this or if anyone has any advice. I really want what is best for my child.

My 17YO daughter broke up with a guy 22YO and he drinks smokes weed should I get involved? He keeps calling.?

He drinks and drives and she has a new boyfriend her own age. I’m worried he will lead her back and she will get hurt. She plans on going to college to be a probation officer, the last thing she needs is to be with him if he gets arrested.

I just heard that my almost 5 year old daughter’s father smokes crack and hash. I am very angry and also hurt.?

We haven’t been together in over 3 years and he really doesn’t come around to see her nor does he call her the way a father should, but she is CRAZY about him. I love my daughter to death and am quite sure he does too, but my thing is the drugs have no love for her! Therefore I have decided to keep him away from her. I don’t know what could happen if she is around him, high or not high. I feel like he should have more love for her than he does seeing how even though it makes him look like an ass, he should have told me this himself, if it is true. I’m kinda scared of what he may do if I tell him to stay away from us, but I love my child too much to think about what he may do. Any suggestions? I wasn’t sure what section to put this in.

my daughter is mid 20s and smokes cannabis she has totally changed and i feel i have lost her.any advice?

she started from a younge age,unknown to me.I have tried everything to try to get her to stop as it is so toxin nowdays and she has turned into such an angry person.Iv screamed at her begged her!i even showed her studies of related mental health issues.now we avoid each other and thats so sad…..

Tim S.thanks for advice.im 45 and in healthcare.i did ask what “it” does for her and she said makes her feel numb.i have seen her “stoned” and she could hardly talk! we have had many studies in England which proves the link to mental health problems and stating that the canabis now on our streets is mixed with other things making it more toxin.
