Does anyone know of anything helpful to help soothe a kicking heroin addict?

My daughter is currently taking Methadone to get off of heroin. She has been using, off and on, but mostly on…for about 5 years. This isn’t her first detox. In fact, it is about her fifth time detoxing. Each time, she returns to the drug, usually within the first month. I am just wondering if anyone out there has found anything to assist in keeping a heroin addict from returning to the drug. Once the detox is finished, and she isn’t using, and isn’t sick, she seems so happy! She claims to hate the drug. But all it takes is just one person who is using to come around…and there she goes again. And I’ve discovered that for her, anyway, using just once is one time too many. If she slips once, she won’t stop until she is fully hooked again. I’m afraid she will die. She has lost several friends to overdose, and other heroin related causes of death. Please help.
