Can my daughter move out of state with her baby without the dad?

My daughter and her ex-boyfriend had a baby in senior year. They are now over 18 and have dealt with an ugly break up. They have not gone to court yet to spell everything out but she’s having a rough time. In my opinion neither one of them is capable of caring for their 11 month old child without help. His mother is an alcoholic and been in a mental institiution for threatening to burn the house down and kill her kids. My grandaughter’s father is not a bad dad. He loves her and is trying just like my daughter. The problem is my daughter is faced with possibly being homeless within 5 months and has no family in Texas to help her. I live in Nevada and have a large home for her and the baby to come to and help them get on their feet. I have no intention of the daddy not seeing my grandaughter. Like I said he’s a good dad, just young. Even if it means I have to pay for a few plane tickets for him to see his daughter. I just want to help. I know if he were to pursue it in the courts he can order the child back to Texas but I’m scared my daughter can get into legal trouble worse than that. If she’s ordered back to Texas it would be fine, I’m hoping she will be done with her college education at that point and then be able to support her and the baby themselves.

My boyfriends baby momma is breaking probation, shes in another state, we would like to get custody of the….?

baby but her parents are pretty high up in the political latter here. She has driven drunk with the baby(4yrs old) in the car, and the child knows what is going on, thats the worst part. one night she asked who was going to drive them home “mommy drank bad stuff” and this week alone she has spent 1 night with her daughter, the other 6 shes been with the grandmother. should I report her? to help us get custody?

i am looking for a state funded rehab in georgia?

My daughter in law is in jail and has been ordered by a judge to attend a drug rehab program. they have no money and she desperately needs help for a meth addiction. we live in GA and I would appreciate any info you may know of. We are extremely concerned that she may may suicidal…so please if you know od any resources for her please, please write back ASAP. Thank you!!!

Daughter is moving out of state, with young kids, with no shelter, healthcar etc.. anything my mother can do?

We live in Indiana and my sister in law told my mother in law today that her and her boyfriend and there two young kids are going to up and move to Illinois to get away from family. We have recently caught on to them doing drugs, by the way. We believe she is addicted to pain pills and doing meth. They are going to Illinois, and they will have no where to live, healthcare, etc… Is there anything I can do or is this some form of neglect??? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the punishment for underage drinking across state lines – Maryland and Pennsylvania.?

My daughter, age 19, was cited for underage drinking in Pennsylvania. She has a Maryland driver’s license (home ).Can she lose her Maryland driver’s license as per Pennsylvania law? She was not driving but was a passenger in a car pulled over for a suspended registration. Because there were two 16 year olds in the car – and it was past curfew – the officer made all vehicle occupants take a breathalyzer (can they do this?) She blew .029.

Conceived in Arizona means jurisdiction there and not baby’s home state of Colorado?

My daughter was conceived in Arizona and I left my ex and moved home when I was three months pregnant because he is an alcoholic. He did not talk to me the entire pregnancy. The baby was born in Colorado and has now lived here one year. I finally filed child support but my case worker is telling me I have to file in Arizona because it’s an interstate case and she was conceived in Arizona.

My ex has not filed any paperwork, he was only waiting to be served. What about the UCCJEA? Doesn’t that state that the child’s home state holds jurisdiction for custody and child support decisions?

By Washington state law, does my girlfriend have to store a known drug dealer’s personal property in her home?

My girlfriend was friend’s with this girl who’s boyfriend was busted for a 1/2 ounce of meth. He sent a letter to my girlfriend from jail stating for her and her elderly parents to hold his belongings until his release from jail which is in two or more years. I personally have an issue with this because God knows what unsafe things may be in this stuff and my girlfriend’s daughter who is seven should not have to be in the same home as his stuff. Any advice???

Can I take my daughter across state lines?

My husband and I are currently married, but I am considering divorce. Neither of us are abusive or have addiction problems. We have simply grown apart. We currently live in Texas, but I want to take my seven year old and move to North Carolina. My daughter is more comfortable with me and I have spent the most time raising her while my husband worked. As a matter of fact, his job requires irregular hours and days away from home. We have already had arguments about me leaving with her, and I know if he knew about it, he would prevent me from going. Can I legally take my daughter across state lines and then file for divorce?

How to file divorce papers when child is in CPS custody (Wash state)?

Hello, I want to get a divorce from my wife who is an active addict and our daughter is in CPS custody. She is happy where she is living and doesn’t want to live with me although I can see her whenever I want. How do I fill out the paperwork where it asks for the child plan? I can’t afford a lawyer right now.
