I was raised with a sweet tooth, it’s now rubbing off on son?

  • Posted on March 24, 2011 at 10:21 am

I was raised eating junk food and I stop eating candy so much, it’s an addiction sadly. I pretty much over come candy most of the time, but my family members like to give him cookies, crackers, lollipops and other junk foods to spoil him. He was such a good eater before I let his grandparents see him. Now he only wants crackers and chicken nuggets. He’ll freak out for a lollipop and I’ll say no and not give him one, but my husband will just cave and get him one. My son will not try new things, but my daughter eats cooked sushi, rice, meat, any type of fruit any type of food she’ll eat it. My son won’t even get close to new foods. I try so hard to make sure he doesn’t get candy, but my husband has a sweet tooth also…My nephew and niece have horrible teeth from sugary decay and I want my children to keep her pearly whites..I don’t want my son to ever have a lolli pop or piece of candy ever again, how do I put my foot down and get him to try and eat healthy foods, he’s only 2 1/2
he eats cheese, but refuses to eat veggies, he’ll just take a bite of a carrot and spit it out. I love veggies, we all do, but my son won’t even let it touch his fork.

Sweet drinks at Starbucks that DON’T taste too much like coffee?

  • Posted on January 5, 2010 at 1:07 am

I’ve decided to let my daughter try something at Starbucks. She wants something sweet, but I don’t like the idea of letting her drink coffee, because it can be addictive. Any suggestions? Thanks! :)
