Daughter addicted to T.V.?

In 2001, my daughter was born. She was an extremely colicky baby and fussy. We made a mistake as first time parents to let her sleep with us. This turned into a three year ordeal. When she turned three, after our relationship suffered as husband and wife, we put her in her own room. After many refusals to go, we put a T.V. in there on the Disney channel so she could have company until she fell asleep. Now, she is going to have to share a room with her little sister and of course, she can’t have the T.V. on in her room during sleep time. She is so addicted to it, she throws raging fits until the T.V. is turned on for her. She can’t be in her room without it at night. What do we do to get her to let go of the T.V. and still be able to sleep in her room?
