Hey so I know this is cheating lol but I do have a few questions too.
First though I wanted to let everyone know that we finally had the baby! I went in to be induced on the 12th of July but again all that was needed was the prostoglatin pill. Just like last time my body kicked in and I didn’t need the pitocin! YAY! I will say that yes I found out that you do have a faster birth second time around. She was late but I was in labor for 5 hours instead of the over 20 last time. It was WAYYYY more intense though. Went from 0% effaced and barely 1cm dilated to 100% effaced and a full 3cm in about an hour. Then had some really really painful contractions! Got to use the birthing ball and when I was done bouncing on that I had more bloody show. I also got to use the tub… wow! That was wonderful but only stayed in about 10 min as I decided I couldn’t take it anymore and it was time to get an epidural. Was checked and went from 5-6 cm to the full -on time to push by the time he got the epidural in and they got the stuff out to have her! Pushed for 16 min instead of 45 like last time. I tore a small 2nd degree one but then when they were sewing me up I started bleeding and tearing. Long story short I lost so much blood that after the 2 hour repair job I needed to have a blood transfusion. It was rough and I’m still recovering but all worth it! WE now have a beautiful second daughter. She came out all pink and got a 9 on her apgar.
Born July 12th at 4:28pm, 6lbs 14.4 oz and 20 inches long. If any of you want more details you are welcome to contact me (while it’s still fresh in my mind lol).

Questions for every one else:
1. how long did it take for the stitches to heal and be off the
narcodics, what did you take and did they help? Im on 1-2 vicodin and 600mg of IBuprofen for the swelling every 6 hours. The issue is that even staying on top of it and taking my meds every 6 hours I’m still hurting a LOT! I tried Percocet but that really didn’t help. The Vicodin takes about an hour and half to kick in then I pass out for a while and it stops working about 2 hours before the next dose.

2. What are some things you did to help the engorgement pain?

3. Goopy eyes, our daugher is perfectly healthy but she seems to have goopy eyes in the morning and when she’s been sleeping. Anyone else have this? I get to go in tomorrow for my week follow up so i will ask but in the meantime any experiences?

4. Oh and cramps when nursing for the second time around! How did you all cope? It seems to be getting better but for a while there felt like labor all over again!

Remember all pregnancies are different so in now way am I wanting to scare any of you:) All in all 5 hours is much better than over 20 and she’s out!!!! YAY!
